Postal Assistant Exam

The Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the Indian Post Office SSC (Staff Selection Commission) to recruit people for the post of postal assistant and sorting assistant.

As a part of the recruitment process, candidates must qualify for three exams for the Postal Assistant post. The first postal exam for the same is expected to be conducted online for 60 minutes with MCQ questions between the months of May and June 2022.

Postal Assistant Nationality, Educational Qualifications, and Age limit

The minimum education qualification to apply for the job of a postal assistant is that candidates should have passed their Senior Secondary or 12th class exams. However, candidates with a higher level of education can also apply for the vacancy.

Postal Assistant Age Limit

Candidates aspiring to become Postal Assistants must fulfill the age limit criteria. While the minimum age for the aspirants is 18 years, the maximum age varies according to the category they belong to:

Postal Assistant Nationality Criteria 2022

Nationality is another crucial criterion that every candidate must fulfill. According to the notification, the below-mentioned candidates are eligible to apply for the Postal Assistant Exam 2022:

  1. A Citizen of India
  2. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  3. A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 01, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India

Postal Assistant Exam Pattern 2023

The Postal Assistant Examination consists of a three-tier exam. Aspiring Candidates should have the proper knowledge of the exam pattern to prepare efficiently. The Postal Assistant Exam Pattern is given below in the table:

English Descriptive writing for 100 marks in 60 minutes
