KPSC Online Application for KAS Mains

Congratulations to all candidates for clearing KAS prelims! Now, what is the next step? How to apply for KAS mains?

  • To fill KAS mains application form visit KPSC official website ( online). At KPSC homepage, click the tab ‘Apply for Gazette probationary- mains examination’.
  • Read the KPSC instructions carefully, then input your KAS prelims registration number
  • A password will be sent to your registered email ID. Use this password to login and to fill the KAS mains application.
  • In the KAS mains online application form your personal details, education, reservation and government service (if applicable) will be prefilled.
  • There will be a provision to edit your address, education and government services details which you submitted in KAS prelims application form.
  • Also, provide other details like preference in KAS services, choice of KAS optional subject, medium of exam and KAS exam center.
  • Review the KAS DAF carefully, use ‘Edit’ button to change any details. Then click on ‘Submit’.
  • Later click on the ‘I agree’ button to accept the declaration
  • Finally, upload the scanned documents of signature, age proof, education and reservation certificates to the KAS detailed application form (DAF).
  • Click on the ‘Print’ tab to preview the application and download the post office pay-slip for paying KAS mains exam fee.

Documents to upload for KAS main application form

  • SSLC/ equivalent examination certificate (Age Proof)
  • Degree convocation certificate/ Degree Marks Cards of all the years (For educational qualification)
  • Reservation certificates in prescribed format (if reservation claimed)
  • Rural Certificate in prescribed (if reservation claimed)
  • Certificate for having studied in Kannada Medium from I Std to X Std (if reservation claimed)
  • Discharge Certificate (For Ex- Military candidates)
  • Candidates claiming PH Reservation (Blind/low Vision/ Hearing Impairment/Locomotor Disability)
  • No Objection Certificate obtained from the appointing authority
