IAS EXAM FEE STRUCTURE

The UPSC application forms are different for IAS prelims and IAS Mains. Likewise, the UPSC application fee is also different for IAS prelims and IAS Mains. Paying the UPSC exam fee is essential to complete the application process.

An applicant should pay the IAS application fee before the last day mentioned in the UPSC official notification. Otherwise, UPSC will not consider your IAS application as valid. It will be wise not to wait till the last date of UPSC application date to pay the IAS application fee.

While filling the IAS online application form you will be redirected to the online payment page for fee payment. If you wish to pay the fee by cash then an SBI pay slip will be generated with printed details. Make sure that you meet the UPSC eligibility criteria before IAS application submission. Because under no circumstance, UPSC will not provide concession of fee or refund IAS application fee.

How to pay the UPSC Exam fee?

  • Candidate can deposit the IAS exam fee online through net banking of SBI, Visa/ Master Credit/Debit card.
  • If a candidate wishes to deposit the UPSC application fee by cash, then you should specify it while filling the application form. A printed SBI bank pay slip will generate. Deposit the cash along with pay slip at the nearest SBI branch during working hours.
  • To complete the IAS Application procedure, candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/ PH) have to pay the IAS exam fee.
