The last date to fill the UPSC Online Application Form for Civil Services Exam was 6th March 2018 and today the list of candidates whose application was rejected is uploaded on the UPSC Official Website (www.upsc.gov.in).
The candidates who have been rejected have 10 days’ time to appeal the decision by providing the payment of receipt as the document of evidence.
The Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) released the list of 124 candidates whose application for the Civil Services Exam 2018 has been rejected due to non-payment of fees.
The UPSC Notification released by the commission today said that “Confirmation has NOT been received from the Bank Authorities regarding receipt of Fee of Rs.100/- in respect of the 124 candidates for Civil Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2018.”
The candidates can appeal the decision within 10 days by submitting the hard copy of the original payment of receipt at the below given address either by hand or send thru speed post.

The last date to submit the document of evidence i.e. the hardcopy of payment of receipt/bank statement is on March 26th 2018.
Mode of Payment
Cash: If candidates have paid through cash mode in State Bank of India then the candidate should produce the original pay-in-slip.
Online Payment: If candidates have paid the fee through online payment system i.e. through debit/credit/net banking then they should submit either the card statement or bank account statement as the proof of payment.
The UPSC 2018 Civil Services IAS Prelims Exam will be conducted on June 3rd 2018. The commission had declared in their notification that the number of vacancies to fill in the central government position would 782.
