ISRO Concentrates on Gaganyan and other production of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle and Small Satellite Launch Vehicles outsourcing to private Industries

ISRO Stands for Indian Space Research Organisation, ISRO planning to outsource the production of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle(PSLV) and Small Satellite Launch Vehicles(SSLV) to private Industries.

The Chairman Of Indian Space agency K Sivan Announced to media in Bangalore on 29th august 2018 that private industries will play a major and Crucial role in capacity building.

Chairman said the ISRO will be concentrating on Gaganyaan, India’s s first manned mission to outer space. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of 2022 for this task when India celebrates its 75th Independence Day.

The ISRO Chief said that the critical technology needed for the mission is already developed and process is on to form a new project team and management structure. He explained that Orbital module comprising of a crew module and a Service module is designed to carry 3 astronauts to a 400 kilometer orbit around the Earth for seven days.

Mr Sivan said the Indian Air Force will identify six persons who can be trained to be astronauts. Very Systematic and planned Training will be provided to the Astronauts under the assistance of the country’s first astronaut Rakesh Sharma and that of foreign space agencies.
