DAF (Detailed Application Form) for UPSC CSE-2018

 CSE Mains DAF addendum submission date changed

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which is in responsible for Indian Civil service recruitment declared the civil service mains 2018 written exam results on 20th December 2018. For the civil service mains, candidates submitted a detailed application form (DAF) in which UPSC did not obtain Cadre & Service Preferences.

In column 18 & 19 of DAF, UPSC has mentioned that all candidates who qualify for IAS personality test will have to submit a separate Addendum to DAF for Order of Preferences for Zone(s)/State(s) Cadre (for IAS/IPS0) and Order of Preferences for Participating Services.

Earlier with the civil service mains result, UPSC had announced that the Addendum for DAF will be available from 21/12/2018 to 03/01/2019 (06:00 P.M.) at the UPSC official website. Now UPSC has postponed the date to 08-01-2019 to 21-01-2019 (06:00 PM) instead.

UPSC has now updated at the e link/web address for Cadre Allocation Policy-2017 dated 05.09.2017. Candidates before submitting their preferences are advised to go through the Cadre Allocation Policy-2017 dated 05.09.2017 carefully.

Attestation Form Submission

  • Candidates who are qualified for IAS personality test after clearing the IAS mains have to submit an attestation form at the website of Department of Personnel & Training.
  • Candidates are pre-registered at the website, so candidates have to change the password after their first login.
  • This can be done by clicking on the ‘Forgot Password’ link, an OTP will be sent to the candidate’s registered e-mail ID and mobile number.
  • Candidates should submit the attestation form within the stipulated time, which is from the first day of interview to the last day of interview.

Enter the to www.dopt.gov.in then click on CSE  and login with your registration ID & password

The IAS personality test 2018 is scheduled to be conducted on 4th February 2019. UPSC will issue the E- call letters for the candidates with scheduled date and time. The personality test will be held at Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069

In the personality, test candidates have to submit the original documents to justify their eligibility for civil service.

Candidates can download the formats for the certificates like SC/ST/OBC and PwBD certificates and TA Form at the UPSC official website. For relaxation and reservation candidates have to submit the original certificate date before the civil service 2018 application closing date.
