PM dedicates the Joint Venture Indo-Russian Rifles Pvt. Ltd. to the Nation

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, visited Kauhar, Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. He committed to the country, the Joint Venture of Indo-Russian Rifles Pvt Ltd, for Kalashnikov Assault Rifle Production. In his extraordinary message on the event, which was perused out by Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “the new joint endeavor will fabricate world renowned Kalashnikov strike rifles of the most current 200 arrangement and in the long run will achieve full confinement of generation.

He also mentioned other development projects in Amethi, which were facing various bottlenecks in operationalization. The Prime Minister said that the Union Government is empowering the poor, and helping them come out of poverty. He said similarly, the farmers are being empowered. In this context, he mentioned the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. He said this scheme will ensure that 7.5 lakh crore rupees reach farmers over the next ten years.

Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 makes it to the Guinness World Records

Prayagraj Kumbh Mela 2019 has been placed in the Guinness World Records in three sectors A three member team from Guinness World Records visited the Prayagraj for this purpose. Exercise at large scale were done before the team members for three days from February 28 to March 3.

Around 503 shuttle buses were pressed into service in one go for the team on February 28 on the highway. Several people participated in painting exercise on March 1 and  10 thousand workers engaged in cleaning at Prayagraj Kumbh performing their duties all together. Only a single bathing festival of Mahashivratri of the six main bathing festivals remains. Five bathing festivals of the Kumbh have  concluded successfully with more than 22 crore pilgrims taking a holy dip.

Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has informed that  more than 2500 delegates from 32 countries participated in CTI-2019. Addressing a Press conference at the Global housing Technology Challenge Expo-cum-Conference event and he informed that Six cities have been identified to locate Lighthouse projects that will serve as “Live Laboratories”.

Shri Mishra informed that 78 Potential Technology Providers from across the country, with 55 post-prototype and 23 pre-prototype made their presentations to the expert jury that included presentations on Robotic Mobile Construction from Mumbai to 3D Printing in Construction from Bangalore.

Secretary, DEPwD Lays Foundation Stone of ‘National Institute of Mental Health Rehabilitation’ at Sehore, Madhya Pradesh

SmtShakuntala D. Gamlin, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment laid the foundation stone of the ‘National Institute of Mental Health Rehabilitation’ at Sherpur Village along Bhopal-Sehore highway, District Sehore, Madhya Pradesh.

The construction work of the building will be undertaken by CPWD, Bhopal and is expected to be completed within a period of two years. During the construction phase the institute will run some of the courses and provide certain servicesfrom a temporary accommodation.Once the institute is made fully functional, it will serve as an expert body in the area of mental health rehabilitation besides developing various models for rehabilitation of mental ill persons including their mainstream in the society.
