  • Young Scientist Programme Launched at ISRO

Indian Space Research Organization has launched an Special program for School Children called “Youthful Scientist Program” “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” from this year.

The Program is fundamentally gone for imparting basic learning on Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications to the more youthful ones with the plan of exciting their enthusiasm for the developing territories of Space exercises. ISRO has chalked out this program to “Catch them youthful”.

  • Dr. Mahesh Sharma Inaugurates ‘Azaadi Ke Diwane’ Museum at Red Fort Complex in Delhi

The Minister of State for Culture and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr. Mahesh Sharma inaugurated ‘AzaadikeDiwane’ museum at Red Fort, Delhi. Created by ASI , the museum within the Red Fort complex pays homage to all the unsung heroes of freedom struggle of the nation, who would have otherwise been merged away in forgetfulness.

Speaking on the event the minister said “Under the leadership of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi this new museum ‘AzaadikeDiwane’ is started in the series of KrantiMandir to inspire the younger generation and letting them know the cost of freedom that the great fighters achieve by sacrificing their life.”

  • Shri Rajnath Singh to inaugurate BOLD–QIT project along international  border in Dhubri, Assam

The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the project BOLD-QIT under CIBMS (Comprehensive Integrated Border Management system) on India-Bangladesh border in Dhubri District of Assam on 05-03-2019. Border Security Force is responsible for safeguarding of 4,096 Km long International Border with Bangladesh. At different places, it is not possible to erect Border Fence due to the geographical barriers.

where River Brahmaputra goes into Bangladesh is making border guarding here, an daunting undertaking particularly during rainy season. To overcome this issue, in the year 2017, Ministry of Home Affairs chose to go for technological arrangement other than the physical presence of manpower of BSF. In Jan, 2018, Information and Technology Wing of BSF attempted the task BOLD-QIT and finished it in record time.

  • PM launches One Nation, One Card in Ahmedabad

PM Narendra Modi launched One Nation, One Card for transport mobility at a function in Ahmedabad on 4-3-2019. The Indigenous Automatic Fare Collection System based on One Nation One Card Model i.e. National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is the first of its kind in India.

India’s First Indigenously Developed Payment Eco-system for transport consisting of NCMC Card, These are bank issued cards on Debit/Credit/Prepaid card product platform. The customer may use this single card for payments across all segments including metro, bus, suburban railways, toll, parking, smart city and retail.
