1.NCDC to organize ‘India International Cooperative Trade Fair’ in October, 2019(YUVA SHAHKAR SCHEME)
Union Agriculture & Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh has said that National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) has played a crucial role in promoting cooperative development in the country by progressively shaping its financial schemes and programmes for benefitting farmers through cooperatives.
Speaking on the occasion of 84th General Council meeting of NCDC on27-02-2019, he said that the Corporation during the current financial year 2018-19 has already achieved an all time high release of over ₹25,000 crore which is 210% of the current year target.
2. Union HRD Minister launches the SHREYAS for providing industry apprenticeship opportunities
The Minister for Human Resources Development, Shri Prakash Javadekarhas launched the Scheme for Higher Education Youth in Apprenticeship and Skills (SHREYAS) for providing industry apprenticeship opportunities to the general graduates exiting in April 2019 through the National Apprenticeship Promotional Scheme (NAPS).
Ministry of Human Resources Development andMinistry for Skill Development & Entrepreneurshiplaunched 7 degree Apprenticeship curricula, which are BBA & BVOCcourses, remodelled with apprenticeship embedded in them. 6 Sector Skill Councils ofIT, Retail, Logistics, Tourism, BFSI, Food Processing have taken the lead.
3. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan hands over 100th Letter of Intent under SATAT scheme
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Skill development and Entrepreneurship handed over the 100th Letter of Intent (LOI) to the Compressed Bio-Gas(CBG) Entrepreneur (producer) under the SATAT scheme. Multiple benefits from converting agricultural residue, cattle dung and municipal solid waste into CBG on a commercial scale
4. Shri Jual Oram to launch “MSP for Minor Forest Produces and Value Addition Component of Van Dhan”
Shri Jual Oram the Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, will launch the “Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Minor Forest Produces and the Value Addition component of Van Dhan” at a workshop to be organized by TRIFED under M/o Tribal Affairs on 28th February, 2019 at Dr Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The Ministry scaling up the “Van Dhan Scheme” and is ready to extend it to all tribal Districts of the Country.
