Constitution Day

On the celebration of 125 birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar Constitution days celebrated, Himalai IAS Coaching Centre in Bangalore aims is to bring awareness about current affairs for the Civil Services Exam like IAS exam, KAS exam.

Today is Constitution Day on the remembrance of Dr.B R Ambedkar. In 1949, the constitution was adopted which came into force on 26 January 1950, beginning of a new era marking in the history of India.

On 19th November 2015, during the year-long 125th birth anniversary celebration of Dr B R Ambedkar, Government of India declared November 26th as the Constitution Day in a gazette notification.

The Constitution continues to be the nation’s guiding light on all matters connected with jurisprudence and governance. The founding fathers Dr B R Ambedkar gave people one of the best Constitutions in the world and by displaying foresight, a flexible and vision approach, they accommodated various viewpoints for constitution and made it adaptable to the Indian situation for the development.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about constitution day During the Mann Ki Baat programme in All India Radio and appealed the people to take forward the values enshrined in the constitution and ensure peace, progress and prosperity in the constitution of the country.

The constitution has strengthened the parliamentary democracy made Dr. B R Ambedkar and has stood the test of times, even as it evolved through several amendments. The Constitution empowers the people as much as the people empower the Constitution for the development of India.
